I don't think Gordon cares that much about rookies. I'm sure he knows that NO will take 2+ years to really turn the ship around. I wouldn't want to wait that long if I was him.
Houston is in no better position, this team is really falling apart its crazy. Martin was upset didn't play well needs to be traded but won't be because there no way were getting fair value. Lowry was pissed got sick, wants to be traded but dragic went ahead and said he wants 10 mill so we'l probably keep him and let dragic walk. We traded our defensive center so now we haft to rely on 38 y/o camby for the whole season unless something gets done. Scola is falling off theres 5 rookies behind him with no mins, parsons is the only one we know can play SF and we are just hoping the rookie tweeners or morris will step into that roll. Patterson didn't play well last season either, Lee wants 7 mill and thats a big stretch. This **** sucks, why would gordon or anybody for that matter choose houston? This team just team just needs to give up and rebuild unless we can pull of a huge trade that has us getting fair value for scola, martin and lowry while balancing the team filling all our needs including defense and the center position. While doing that we need to sign dragic for under a max of 7.5 mill a year and sign lee for a max of 5 mill a year. If we can do all that, then maybe just maybe gordon or anybody else would pick houston instead. Btw this post has nothing to do with you im just ranting, lol
I hope we are meeting with him just to drive up the price for NO. I do not want him here. I want to see what our young guys can do.
If we do trade for Howard, and offer the max to Gordon, will we still have enough to go after DWill? that would be a lineup even Dwill would have a hard time staying in Brooklyn for. Howard/Camby D-Mo/White Parson/Morris Gordon/Lamb DWill/Dragic Although I realize Dragic would probably walk when he realizes he's not starting.
Morey loves jamming up a position. Gordon/Martin/Lamb/Lee/? look for him to acquire at least two more PG's.
58 mill??? hell no he cant even complete a season without body breaking down. He isnt worth max money lol. We should take gerald green that guy worked on his skills alot and it showed last season, he will be cheap also
There was a fantasy basketball podcast with Stephania Bell last season where she spoke about Eric Gordon's value as a keeper. I don't recall specifics anymore, but as a Physical Therapist, she was extremely concerned about his durability moving forward. Seemed to think there is a better chance his knee becomes a career nagging injury than him finding good health moving forward. It was a bit damning.

Ron from the G's sources are more accurate than whoever said last night the meeting wasn't till Monday.
they were a playoff team a year ago with junk plus chris paul. and where are there really better situations, anyway? he's not signing with miami or okc. if allen goes to miami, boston would be a nice short-term team for him, but other than those, what contenders are there? NOLA is as good of a team as any for him.
