Love how Harden jumped off the bench. You can tell that he is happy for Ego's success

    You're back on THIS?

Beverley somehow "sold" starting, after being out with injury 3 months, and had a starting role waiting for him? He somehow yanked it away from the same Gordon, and D'Antoni was too stupid to see, the same guy that coached Steve Nash to 2 MVPs can't call the pg position? The same Beverley had HAPPILY came off the bench for Ty Lawson?

This is a hint of delusion you're on now making up narratives to support your stance

Are you saying that Bev isn't a master salesman? Or that Gordon isn't a better talent than Bev? Or why do you think Bev came back directly into the starting lineup after an injury, instead of working his way back in....without selling it to the coach in the coach's mind? And is Bev our PG or Harden? And how many games did TY start for us again before Bev took that back over? Was Bev injured? What exactly are you disagreeing with me on again? I'm confused.

You know that's prob true but at the same time I just try and look at it as a package deal 33m a season for a starting stretch PF and an Allstar level 2nd option guard.

That's a steal when you see guys like Steven Adams getting 25m and olidipo getting 21m.

Both good players but I like Ryno/Gordon a lot better for 13m less a year and better production.

Thank you Kent Baezmore. If it weren't for you turning us down, we wouldn't be witnessing this epic display of outside shooting on our team from Mr. Gordon. I don't even want to imagine a world where you would be on this team instead of him.

Feels good to finally have several legit snipers on this team. I've been super envious of teams like the Warriors and Cavs because of their abilities to spread the floor and create optimum space for assaults to the basket and now we're capable of the same.

Eric Gordon is a keeper. There is no need to trade him.

Gordon is now within five 3's of Curry on the year, and shooting 5% higher:eek:

Eric has actually been the best player on the team for the last few games now. Lets hope Harden can get his act together.

It's official. I want Bev, Harden, Gordon, Dekker, and Capela to retire as Rockets :)

I don't think pure scoring makes you the best player. Just as Nash was the best player of SSOL Suns, not Amare, even when Harden doesn't rack up bunch of points he is easily our best player because of his play making ability as well as rebounding. It's the same reason I consider Klay to be overrated; the best player of a team has to find a way to contribute even when his shooting is off. I mean Jerry Stackhouse once led the league in scoring but never was considered that great of a player due to lack of other skills. People are starting to doubt Wiggins' true ceiling as a player for this same reason.

Gordon and Klay both are decent defenders, just not elite, so the defense alone doesn't make up for lack of assists and rebounds. They are good for second or third best player position, but never the first.

Gordon is who he is this year partly because of Harden and the system.
Harden draws a ton of attention and EG is essentially one of the best catch and shoot guys.
Also, with Bev, Ariza, Anderson, Harden all provoding adequate spacing, defenses have a difficult time deciding what to do.

The leagues' adjustments thus far has gone like this:

    1) harden/capella p&alley was killing teams. Defenses loaded up on that.

    2) harden/ryno p&pop were killing teams so they started switching.

    3) teams are hard doubling harden and putting extra attention to the picker. Thus the need for secondary playmakers and why EG/Bev/Dekker has been given these opportunities.

The thing is that we keep winning.
Adding Dmo Will add more versatility especially with the option of traditional post game and kick out three.
Also, I expect that Ryno and Harden will start picking up their shooting soon.
