i would rather see EG in timberwolves' jersey by trading for a 3D PF, that would be win-win for both team.
Gordon is not trade eligible this season. Try to catch up. The offense should take off once he’s back and he’s an underrated/good defender as well. I’m really excited for EG to come back but we all need to have patience. It will probably take him 2-3 weeks to get back into rhythm.
I like having him to come in when James or Westbrook rests, but I would rather see another big wing in our starting lineup.
Cool. Cool. So you're talking 2020/21 right? You surely cannot have missed the 10,000 posts highlighting the fact Gordon cannot be traded this season.
And then when we have another game where no one can hit a 3? I agree we need a 3D PF, but I don't know if trading our third scorer is the way to do it.
I think him coming back in the New Year should be sufficient. We need to work him back in slowly I think his first game would be 5 minutes in the first half . .. and 5 in the second increase from there Rocket River
yeah, i know how great EG is and was. but, things made me even nervous (though nah as nervous as nanny pelosi), when we held back clippers, seeing a silver lining, i begun greedily picture what would happened we confronted teams with length and spreading their D to perimeter. Last postseason while clashing w/ warriors, refs, or call a spade a spade, league got selective-blinded about all those ugly faults on harden, mates alongside JH choked incl. EG. last yr warrior played good D but nah w/ long guys. this yr, logically presumed, we're nah D-oriented under MDA as we were, and we lovely short, top seeds' diff is +7-+13 and w/ length, while bloodly combatted close to hoop, wht would happened eat, sleep, rave and repeat, as recursive programing. im just crying on it, why nah get down to it now. yes yes yes, it's on morey's MIT diploma, on MDA's 'feel-fall style' and on da cheap owner. one more time, i was in half empty mode, but im in real, im nah kinda holding a coke automatically in thill besides the court. im done.
The team is rolling without him. Lets see if Ben Mac can remain consistent with his shooting. If Eg comes back better than he was the first two months then we are going to have weapons!
If he’s ready then I think the game on the 28th at home against the Nets is a perfect opportunity to test him out. The team has a home-road back to back against NOP so he can stay home and see how his knee responds. The games after the NOP trip are home against the Nuggets (31st), in Philly (3rd) and then they have a good gap until home against Atlanta (8th). Three games and then a 4 day break should be enough to know exactly where he is and what’s needed going forward.
