I really don’t think we should worry, he has not had a major injury in like 3+ years and when he did on pelicans it was like fingers and stuff.

I think he’s just as durable as anybody else just bad luck. Anything can happen to anyone.

I just applied your theory to Harden's three point shooting ... and what you're saying about recklessness v cautiousness now makes sense.

    here's proof ...

Its middle of november now, its cold outside, but I am reckless and fearless and I am having my daily shooting practice outdoor half naked, shirtless, and nevertheless I am always in perfect health never ill, never catching cold...

On the other hand there are thousands if not millions of cautious people who fear illness or catching a cold who always take precaution and go around in thick jackets with their scarfs and caps on and they nevertheless get ill or catch cold often and very easily.

He is Thompson level this year. Houston likes warriors without durrant now. We should still give more time for Gordon even Paul back

Should MDA consider bringing CP3 off the bench?

You can't. He's CP3 for God's sake. What will happen though is early substitutions.

Will his number dip again when we insert another talented guard into the rotation like it did last year when we acquired Lou williams and his usage went down along with his production

once cp3 is back gordon will dip to 16-18 pts a game. But i love Gordons game, he a straight killer. I am also dying to see cp3 play in red already i feel like game 1 vs warriors was basically someone making a fake roster on 2k and playing warriors to see if they can play warriors. I need cp3 thing to sink in, i need to see him in rocket red so it can sink in

I don’t agree, with Gordon taking a dip. He was going off in the warriors game with CP3. Gordon is being super agressive and not defering.

Yeah nobody's numbers should drop outside playing time.

It's the scoliosis that is worrisome. He's genetically not as durable and needs more rest.

We can all agree that 23 a game is a result from playing 38-40 mpg with Cp3 back gordon should reduce to 34-36 he may not dip to 16 but under 20 or around 20 for sure

With Gordon playing at an all star level, knowing Morey it wouldn't be out of the question to entertain serious trade offers for him, especially if CP3 comes back on fire.

I personally don't wanna see Gordon go, but knowing Morey if he feels he can snag a Boogie Cousins or another high level superstar, I definitely see him pulling the trigger.

Good bounce back game for Gordon.

What impressed me about Gordon is not his points but how he’s getting them. It’s really nice to have an athletic ball handler that can shoot, drive and pass if nesscarey outside of harden and Paul. Plus he’s exciting to watch.

Gordon will be the difference maker for us in the playoffs against top tier teams. Hopefully he shows up.

I've seen some on the internet "make fun of" the MDA effect on guards. In the sense that he takes a Jeremy Lin, for example, and turns him into a superstar for 4 weeks. But it's actually great. And the Rockets have three guys that fit the bill.

EG is another "perfect" guard for this offense, imo. Just stay healthy... work through shooting slumps.

Gordon is playing very smart, he's using his reputation of a three point shooter to drive by people. His drive off catches are really good because defenders tend to close out really hard on him so he just dribbles past them

I've noticed he's driving to the rim more. I like the way he throws his body into the defender and almost always draws a foul. If his shot starts falling it's over for the NBA

Ture but in fairness Usain Bolt also has scoliosis. Maybe a little less contact than in the NBA but there are professional level atheletes out there who have this and are thriving.
