People do not want to trade EG, they want to trade Ryan Anderson, but to go get enough value to trade Anderson they likely have to trade Eric Gordon.

It's been pointed out (not by me, but by aelliot? Bima?) that Morey could hang on to him until the deadline, if necessary. We would have eaten a chunk of next season's salary, and he'd largely become an expiring contract. Hope I got that right. Heck, maybe the guy will rediscover his shot for a few months. That would make him even "easier" to move, easy not being a word I typically think of when it comes to moving Ryan. Sure, we'd much rather move him now, if it doesn't mean selling the farm, but we do have alternatives if Morey can't manage it.
I hope we keep gordon but if it means getting rid of Anderson and acquiring a star player I’m all in. Tyreke Evans would be a good replacement
Actually it wouldn't big picture. We are operating above the cap and will not use cap space. The only reason Gordon might not be on the Rockets next year is to facilitate a trade for a bigger star hopefully in a package sending out Ryno.

No one wants to trade him... he was only going to be traded if there was something bigger on the table... everyone knew that was the deal. Rockets arent going to trade him just to do it.
