EG speaks loud out what 90% of clutchfans know... Year 3 of rebuild: 29. Ortg 28. Drtg 30. Ast% 30. TOV% 29. EFG% 29. TS % 29.PpG 28.3p% 30.FG% Where is the developement? Most sets are simple pnroll plays (3,4 perzentil and only 0,79 PPP, 29.)or hand offs or isolation plays. As a young team we are dead last in transitition plays. Silas is a tank coach not a HC. Its devastating to watch the games in germany when its 2 hours after midnight.
Miami is miles ahead as an organization. The current rockets regime has only earned my trust for drafting, not “developing” talent like Bam and Herro.
dont do that to you... wait and see what the team will do with the 40M+ cap next year... then you think if this **** is worth your time and lack of sleep.
Which superstar is going to sign with the worst team in the NBA? We're not consider big market by lots of people.
Now wait a minute, you have to compare apples to apples not apples to oranges. Our players are 1st and 2nd year players right now, those players are vets. You would have to have those players all in their 1st and 2nd years to make it a fair comparison. And I guarantee you that roster (in their 1st and 2nd years) would not be 1 shot away from the finals. PJ didn’t even know about a corner 3 in his first years in the league. Jimmy wasn’t a leader back then. Bam was just getting rebounds and trying to block shots when he wasn’t in foul trouble. So yeah, not the same rosters.
In reality this is actually an improvement. Last year's record had vets primarily responsible for that record with guys like Wood, EG and Augustine leading the way. And 6 of those wins came without Green also as the Rockets got on that winning streak with him injured.
And Cedi Osman is ahead of Tyler Herro. This is literally the dumbest **** i've ever seen in my life.
KPJ ahead of Alpi in wins added, but Alpi ahead of KPJ in court impact... which means he's only lower in wins because he doesn't play enough minutes? It's clear what this stat is saying, fire Silas!
Dude makes a great point, you can lose in the ECF and NOT make the finals with a hard working roster. Meanwhile NBA finalists Boston Tatum pick 3 Brown pick 3 Horford pick 3 Smart pick 6 Stauskus pick 8 Nesmith pick 14 Williams pick 22 Pitchers pick 26 Williams pick 27 White pick 29 Undrafted: Fits, Hauser, Korean, Morgan, Theis That's 6 lotto picks, and 3x top 3 guys. We could do the NBA champ Warriors too - but surely we've all read that book before?? Point is that a team needs to get a bonafide star, and then a sidekick, before they can be a contender. Young teams lose. 28% chance at an actual franchise altering star if we can endure half a season more of pain (even if we can't endure it, same % chance!). Then 40mill cap space to use to add a veteran semi star. Then exceptions to add 2x role players (vets). I'll join the grumpy wagon if we are 10-26 this time next year!!
Herro plays terrible defense and cedi osman is a good 3&d player. His Impact weights More than herro in Miamis horrible season.
What's funnier is on reddit, a large portion of our fanbase actually thinks we're making the playoffs next year even if we don't get Scoot or Wemby. Even with Scoot or Wemby we aren't making the playoffs next year, we're still going to suck (just not a bottom team hopefully) and pray we get to retain our pick.
Miami would be contending for Wemby without Herro. They are 3-5 without him. Tyus Jones is way better defensive player than KPJ.
