Lucky...mirrored my thoughts. Lin added some upper body muscle as he looks bigger than he did on the Knicks. Lots of Sparta training during the off-season. I just can't figure why he's in his shooting slump? It's not like he didn't make ANY of his 3's this season, it's so sporadic.

The Rockets set the fewest/worst screens in the league....... Because of that, Lin can't penetrate or shoot off the screen. (And Harden gets slowed down as well. He scores points but with too many shots.) It's just that simple.

Yeah, it's definitely weird! His shots either splash right into the net or embarrassingly airball
I hope he wasn't training with his BFF Landry Fields' shooting coach over the summer, have you seen that boy play this season? He's making the current Jeremy look like a prime Ray Allen.

Leaving everything else aside, I'm not sure what people want. It's like, unless Lin produces like a Max contract player they are going to find a reason to b**** about him.

He had 10 assists in the last two games. Tonight he had 10 assists with playing only 31 minutes and he was again sharing the ball with Harden for half the time he was on the court.

If he was given the primary ball handling responsibility he would easily be getting 12-15 assists a night consistently. How many PGs in the league do you think do that?

If he was given screens and a little bit more freedom to run the game a couple more drives to the basket and he'd be comfortable scoring 10+ points, if his shots come back, which I'm sure it would, 13-15 points. That would be all star territory. Only Four PGs in the entire league had that kind of average last season.

But even as he is now, with limited usage and now limited minutes, 10+ assists a game is pretty good value for his contract. That's with a coach who has zero faith in him. Imagine one that was actually supportive and encouraging and not trying to make him compete with tony douglas for minutes.

Totally agree with you. Anyway, if people are not happy with his performance then just trade him simple as that.

People will b**** about Lin because of all the hype he got which resulted in:

    1) Knicks fans being divided over Lin

    2) People getting angry/bitter over his hype and performances

    3) Rockets fans being divided, as they blame management for losing both Lowry and Dragic

    4) Now the Clutchfans flooded with new members after Lin came. Ironic because some fans thought Lin would be better off since Knick fans get really emotional in judging Lin, but this is the internet age and everyone has an opinion.

It is what it is and Lin is struggling. No doubt if Lin was ballin', there'd be tons of praise for him but just like on any forum, fans will do what they do best and that's criticize.

It is normal to criticize his bad performance (bad shooting). Please be patient with him and give him a chance to improve. Despite his shooting slump, he is trying to help elsewhere with assists and defense. It is not like he is a lazy F*** and a scrub or a joke as people seem to make him out to be. We're still early in the season, please be patient.
I am Knicks fan and come here to follow his development but I've learned to love the whole team and not only to be LOF (signed after he signed here) as people seem to accuse us of being the only player fan.
It is a young team and there will be ups and downs moments but someone earlier mentioned that the Roxx lost 4 games at least because of him. Ok, I'm done Amen.

Negative fans keep crying over Lin's scoring. He is a point guard for frxxkin sake, 10 assists from a point guard is a proof of a good point guard making offense flow smooth. If you guys want him to score 20 points or more, go get a Westbrook.

It's all good with me. Since you're a Knicks fan, you should know that every game fans get melodramatic...no pun intended. There were Rockets fans here that wanted the team to tank to make that draft pick really good, so really with Lin struggling helps the case. But if others want to criticize Lin, it's no different than Knicks fans going crazy and criticizing Felton when they first got him and continuously called him Fat. It is what it is.

Sad to see the way many Rockets fans treat their player and act superficial and short-term minded. Ah well..... *shrug*

    Lin vs Lakers

    The Good
-On ball defense was good against 3 string PGs
    -Passing was superb
-Great steal to try and help keep the game in single digits

    The Bad
-Help Defense was terrible and rotational defense was Bad
-Third and fourth Stringers score 18-7 on Lin and TD
    -Missed 3 Uncontested shots
-Missed 2 close shots Because of Howard

(best Part is when LIn flopped on Kobe and then Kobe gave Lin the "DEATH STARE" and started playing Defense on Lin LMAO)

No, I haven't seen Fields play this season. I know he's injured right now. I have seen his stat line in a couple of games and it's not good. I read that Raptor's fans are questioning his contract worth.

I thought that was clearly a foul by Kobe. But yeah, Lin exaggerated the contact a bit.

The announcer even noticed that his shooting form was 'off'. Said his elbow angled out and didnt look right. Maybe just like a golfer, when one adds or loses significant weight or muscle, it can throw off one's body mechanics significantly enough that it will require retraining of the body to make those shots fall again. It is quite obvious that he doesnt like the thought of shooting those wide open long jumpers out there.

I also don't know what the hell is going on. If he shot just .400 he would be among best rounded pgs. Superb court vision, superb ability to rebound, instinct for loose balls. He just needs to hit the ocean with a rock from a boat and stop helping so much inside. if they score 40 on asik or patterson so be it.

Hey eremy, get off chandler's sofa, log out of your chat session and go shoot some Js
    sincerely,
    Clutchfans.
