Oh yea, props for NOT starting another thread asking this question, I can only imagine what Clutch's response would be
This guy has a real medical problem and I don't think it's necessary to make these kinds of jokes. It's pretty tough for someone to openly come out with a problem like this, yet you guys are acting like a bunch of morons making light of the situation. Isn't this forum supposed to have mostly mature individuals instead of 16 year old kids? Give him a damn break. Anyway, I will address your problem below. First of all, there are many ways for people to have your problem. Diabetes and thryoid abnormality are just 2 ways that can affect your erection. LH and testosterone can also have an effect. LH and FSH are usually thought of as hormones that regulate the menstrual cycle. These hormones are also in men and an increase in LH (outside of normal levels) can lead to impotence. An increase in testosterone is usually "good" for guys, but too much of an increase can also lead to problems. I would go to the doctor and check my fasting blood glucose and TSH (for thyroid), then get some blood work done for the hormone levels. There are only a limited number of things a doctor can do in this type of situation. From what it looks like, stress is a major part of your problem. Over the counter medication are over the counter for a reason. They're "safe". If a medication can sustain your erection, then it probably does it by raising your blood pressure, which can in turn have pretty adverse side effects.
... meggo is not a guy. ... and I think you misunderstand the Hangout, in terms of moronic versus non-moronic posts. I have created a pie chart for you, tracking the two in terms of percentage of all Hangout posts. (Hint: black is representing moronic)
Perhaps he's exploring other avenues of stimulation. For some people straight sex ain't gonna cut it.
Okay, you're a funny guy, I get it. I don't post much, but I'm in the Hangout section most of the time. I enjoy the sarcasm that's so prevalent in this forum, but this is a different situation. If you had an erection problem, does it feel good when people are making jokes about it? Maybe I'm thinking this way since I am a health professional, but I just don't think this is necessary.
You're a health professional? Didn't you come play with us last summer at the UH rec?? I thought you were on your junior year back then or something.
You didnt read the thread about clean this forum a little bit, I dont think this what clutch had in my mind.
I understand what The Pharmacist is saying, however I'm gonna echo what has already been said. If anyone knows how this forum is, especially the Hangout, they should know what to expect with a thread about such topics. I would think this is something you would only share with your really close buddies. Posting on a forum regarding this could be a sign of desperation. Good luck to the OP. Btw, if you need some visual stimulant or help... my roommate's friend's brother-in-law knows of some great websites.
Starting from the 3rd year in pharmacy school, we have rotations every day at Texas Tech. For other pharmacy schools, rotations start the 4th year. Anyway, I have new patients to follow every day and do most of the work needed. Since I come in contact with patients so much, I guess this is why I didn't like the constant jokes made about the thread starter. Maybe I overreacted a little....my bad guys.
