Great pic. It has nothing to do with your position in the debate, but a great pic just the same.

    Keep on not responding.

The Cheney-Baron Harkonnen Obama-Paul Atreides correspondence is eerie.

Hey it has been a couple of years since we have attacked another country. The continuing wars in Afghanistan and Iraq don't count. Nor do drone attacks and encouraging a civil war in Pakistan. How ae aging neo-cons to get it up without a new war to cheer on? Viagra will only accomplish so much.

Standing in front of the "President's" motorcade, defiantly giving him the finger, the young Iranian girl could only wonder "why, oh why isn't Obama listening to basso?"

Really had to trawl through my Latino harddrive to place that one. I see your "La Bamba" supporting actor and raise you an aspiring governor turned tobacco settlement launderer.

Everytime you respond to basso as if he was posting an argument worthy of consideration, basso wins.

    ^^^^^

    THIS IS THE CORRECT RESPONSE.

You know what is funny? The only way that basso would be more irate about Obama's response to Iran is if he actually *did* do something. And the tiny tent party just keeps getting smaller...

Because the violence can't be outrageous before it happens. The violence has to "be" before it can "be" outrageous.

Of course, Obama could have said, "The iranian election results is of concern blah blah blah, but let me say this, I am outraged by the violence that has yet to occur".

Basso, what policy of Obama's are you actually criticizing??? So you are criticizing him for not being bold enough to say flowery language and be the first to say, "Bad Iran, you are very very bad".

I just want to make sure that you realize that you are just critiquing his words, and not his policy.

In other words, find something more substantive. Get back to health care. Or his policy to engage the middle east instead of spurning them. Frankly, do something useful.

Of course Obama equivocated. He hedged his bets. He had no reason to say anything until he saw how things unfolded, that's what smart people do. Of course, a lot of people, apparently yourself being included, are more impressed by strong bold, and hallow statements. You know, "Misson Accomplished!"

    I'll take equivocation.

What the hell do you want him to do? He is already dealing with 2 wars supported and started by a previous administration that will go down as the worst in atleast 130 years. He has unrest in Israel and Korea is now making threats, and Pakistan is now a powder keg about to blow up. Lets not forget that the economy is not in great shape (it wouldnt be because we are fighting 2 wars for going on a decade, would it??) and as a result of "playing war" we have a huge debt that the Chinese are trying to strangle us with....

So please, tell me what the hell you would like him to do? Because war and threats have worked ohh so well the last 8.5 years.
