    But point still stands .. When you(in general) think of Michael Jackson, I'm pretty sure you remember the music before the molestation allegations, and general weirdness.. His music I don't think will ever take a backseat to MJ's questionable behavior..

    i dont know, i think the younger generation growing up during this whole psycho jackson time will remember him for that.

    Some people are misunderstanding here. There is still great music out there. You just have to look for it. That's fine. But from the 60's and 70's...great music was MAINSTREAM. Nowadays, mainstream music blows and blows hard. I'm surprised Lupe Fiasco's song gets as much airplay as it does, that one's pretty cerebral. The point is that it doesn't seem like there will be any bands/artists from these time periods (90's and 2000's) that we can look back at in 20 or 30 years and say man they really changed the face of music with THAT song like Beatles or Led Zeppelin. Music is engineered nowadays.
