The Simpsons are just not that funny anymore and a lot of the story lines seemed to have been done at least 2 or 3 times already. I question the reasoning behind giving them a new contract. But then I suppose it's entirely possible that the show has found a new audience; it's certainly been running long enough. I'll still give the new episodes a shot, but more often than not, it's frustrating to watch. The movie wasn't even that great and itself was just a rehashed story done time and again.
yeah. i have them all on dvd. i watch every epsidoe every summer...and every summer i catch something new. like the other day i watched the episode when kent brockman wins the lottery. Shirley Jackson's The Lottery was sold out, but it doesnt give you tips about how to win the lottery but instaead is a chilling team of society gone mad....It's pretty funny because I read that story a few months ago. Also they did a reference to a Robert Frost poem I had just read. And also I feel sorry for kids born in the 90s. They dont know anything about the Simpsons. They're watchin stupid stuff on cartoon network and hannah montana.
Money wise , that is the best job one could have. EVER. However, you cant beat being a superstar athlete. money+women/fame.
