Trade Rafer for someone who can make some wide open 3s that Rafer misses every single game. Simple as that.
DD you have been in love with Kirk for 2 seasons now, he hardly even plays, it seems he gets hurt as much as Grady does.
I would make Luis Scola a co-captain. It wouldnt be a ripple effect move. He wouldnt even have to lead or do any talking. It would just mean he's the player being the most professional out of everyone. The most consistent player giving the appropriate effort for EVERY game. Co-captian would more mean the player thats looked at as the example of how to play NBA basketball.
I have a great idea! Let's start winning some damn games foegetvall this other bs!!! Plain and simple win games and all is forgotten. Check out my blog it's all Rockets all day every day! www.clutchcentral.blogspot.com plz check It out let let me know what y'all think. (leave a comment)
Head, Hayes, and Rafer for Hinrich Battier for Outlaw and Frye. Outlaw just won another game for the Blazers with 35 pts in 33 mins...7 boards and 3 blocks too.
1. Brooks Starts, Rafer off Bench 2. Trade Luther, Maybe Barry as well, he will get hurt again & again. 3. Increase Hayes' mins. Give him majority of the mins vs Suns, Mavs, Spurs, Celtics, Jazz, teams with good PFs 4. Put Deke in , Minimize Yao's mins.
Trade Rafer for who? A team will only offer the Rockets their junk for Rafer. Just look back at what went on during the 2007 offseason. I would agree with step one, but in addition, give Brooks more minutes than Rafer.
This is an important point IMO. Adelman's done a great job keeping Yao's minutes down despite all the lineup problems, and I hope this continues. Scola's flawed but steady play as backup center has made this possible. Hopefully, Deke will help here, too.
First thing first - team has to get healthy. Artest, Battier and T-mac namely. That might be the cureall for all the Rockets problems...but it's useless to have meetings and talk and speculate until the team has had a chance to get healthy.
LMAO! I must have been the only one that caught your South Park reference there. As far as starting Brooks I'm still not sure he's ready but maybe in 1-2 years I say he's good to go. We really need to do some trading for a good starting pointguard and a back up center for Yao to rest up and I'm talking someone younger then Deke.
I like your idea of a Hinrich deal, but the Bulls already have 2 SFs making big money in Deng and Nocioni. We don't have the pieces to make this deal right now without going over the luxury tax. Maybe this summer?
