Small steps, give the guy a chance. He was far from good last night but this is a huge learning curve for Morris, starting in his first NBA game. Give him a few games as backup to PatPat and let him get some confidence under his belt, onece he does he will be far better for it.
I am all for giving a guy a chance, but Morris had his chance last season. What are they supposed to do with Jones who was wrecking in preseason?
ikr? i mean, if we dont have other pf with high potential, then we should give morris more chance. but we have one that is EAGER to put up great numbers and performance. should we let jones rot on the bench while morris is taking his sweet time to develope?
I was one of the biggest supporters of Morris and McHale's decision in playing him vs Pistons. I am so glad he came through and proved he is worthy the rotational spot. Step out if you are in for a heathy serving of crows....
Glad to see him get some good minutes and show off some of that potential we drafted him for. I do want to see if he can do it again later but a great game and I am glad he got his chance to shine.
Fail man He'll get his chance sooner or later but rookies don't get to play a lot on a winning team. After the trade we could be exactly that.
Yes!!!!! Seriously....his minutes belong Terrence. Hopefully soon enough, DMo....Jones and White see the court and Morris get buried underneath the bench.
Sorry it took so long. Just getting in. I would like to say that i am glad to see him have a good game. My problem with Morris is his inconsistency. I will be the first to jump on the Morris bandwagon when he starts doing something like this on a game to game basis. Good game Mookie.
UHMMM ... looked good out their tonight. Patience. Never judge a player by one game. And remember, Houston has an excellent coaching staff, with two of the top assistant head coaches in the NBA. And the rookies have not played yet. Get over it! 2 wins 0 losses. That is all that matters.
