i agree with most of what Sherlock said. All the hate threads make me not want to spend time on Clutchfans.
I think Sherlock pointed out one thing that is very important. The media is watching us. The fact that our filth is influencing how the media view the Rockets is NOT a good thing, IMO.
Win or lose, I don't care. I will support my team until the day I die. From 82-0 to 0-82. I watch basketball to get all from all the bullish that comes with real life. I don't want to spend that time b****ing or being angry and mad. Yes this year has been disappointing but I still enjoy watching the Houston Rockets play. Hard at times to watch, but nothing is ever fine and dandy all the time. I look forward to Rockets games every single week. Even after Clutch City, I stayed with this team through all the ups and mostly downs. 16 straight loses while Francis had migraines? Yup, I stuck with them and watched every game hoping for that win (Thanks Eddie). Being through all that, I never once had to throw any personal attacks or resort to elementary defense of name calling towards our players. I don't know them personally so I'm not going to judge what I don't really know. Offseason is horrible for me because I can't get my "getaway drug". As long as the Rockets are playing on TV, I'm good to go.
So true man, I've been a die hard fan of two teams my whole life, the Rockets and Bears and both have given me some great moments and some terrible ones. 20 plus years I've always supported my teams good or bad. This season has been a let down thus far but I won't give up on it until this season is finished and we see how it all ends up. All things considered, we are still in more or less the same spot recordwise we were in last year. This team has a big upside if they can find their defensive groove.
If tmac is out for the rest of the year, I believe we will finish off the season at something around 51-31....if tmac comes back, we will be something like 45-37......if we enter the playoffs with the squad we have, we should still be able to advance..
