I dont get to watch too much of the Buntcakeliga, but I'm pretty sure the EPL is the most exciting league to watch. If you're making ranking according to their respective performances vs other leagues recently, I can't really speak to that.

I like Mad Jens though SJC!

Another thought: why don't you give us a run down of 'who to watch' in the Bundesliga, SJC.

SJC, do you watch the Budesliga regularly? If so, what do you think of Iranian winger Mehdi Mahdavikia? Stuttgart or Hamburg, I think. I don't get to see him very often, but I hear he does really well.

I think that you'd find only Germans would say that, at the minute.

He plays for Hamburg. He's a good dribbler, quite fast, more of an assist guy from the wing than a scorer himself (in contrast to his compatriot Hashemian, who now plays for Bayern).

I am a Bayern Munich season ticket holder. I don't really care much about the other teams. Bayern are the best. In Germany, Europe, and the world :D.

Yeah, I know Hashemian, actually met him a few times.

Bobby Robson got the sack today. Too bad.

Didn't Bayern get their ass handed to them by leverkusen a couple of days ago? I could be mistaken.

I get to see a lot of Mehdi during the Asian Cup and all the National team games...he sets up most of the assists for the team that Karimi scores.

The guy is really amazing to me. I am not sure if you guys have ever seen Karimi Play but he is much better than Mehdi as far as dribbling and creating. He had a few plays in the Asian Cup that were just sick....he's getting more money to play in Emerites i think instead of Europe.

    Saw all the NT games.

I hear great things about him in the Bundesliga, but when Mahdavikia plays for the NT he looks decent, nothing great.

Karimi is in a class of his own. His technique and dribbling skills are as good as anyone in the world, no exageration.

However, he's more concerned with money than anything else, so he's playing in the Emirates where he makes a lot more money, and is treated like a king.

The Iranian players are really talented when compared to the rest. it's amazing that they're on par with Japan and Korea considering how poorly the federation is run, and how weak some of these players' fundamentals are. I really believe they are the most talented and gifted team in Asia, but unfortunately no one wants to develop them.
