Do you read my point or do you just notice I made a reply then proceed to write the quotes over? You keep breaking down his stats in a reply to tell me how bad of a player he is. Again I'm not defending Kanter nor am I a fan, what I'm saying is Again for the 10th time no such team makes a max offer without knowing the consequences either way. You probably won't get this but whatever

If OKC matches, would they need to move say Augustin and/or Morrow? Both would be great pick-ups imo. Augustin is a very high reward back-up PG, and Morrow would finally give us a consistently great three point shooter.

i did read and I disagree and if you read my post you could have understood why. Portland neither needs Kanter nor he fits their other players. They don't want him they want to make OKC pay. They added painful trade kicker to make it even more painful for OKC.

One team that plans to max a center, doesn't go and trade for one at the same season.
    So they don't want him.

for the Rockets much better they match. They will have to salary dumb precious depth, their defence will plummet like at the end of last year, AND the best? They have a rfa next year watching all these deciding to do the same as Kanter. Dion Waiters. It will set a beautiful precedent.

Lol how do you know they don't want him and they just want OKC overpay? Are you a blazer insider or is this just an opinion of yours turning it to a fact? I stopped reading after the " he doesn't fit their players" they're still shuffling players around so yea he doesn't fit. Are you BBhaulic by any chance ?

Whatever dude. You also claimed that they want him. Are u an insider? Perhaps you want to explain to me why the blazers gave up a first roundpick to get plumplee if ghey just want to "shuffle" him? Lets hear it.
Or explain to me how two of the worst players in defence in their position makes sense? Or you think lillard is about to be "shuffled"?
are u bballholic by any chance?

Haha where did I claim they want him ? I said it's a win win situation for them do u understand what means? Shuffling players = trading for or trading away. So far got rid of half of their roster while picking up others. They just picked harckless so what players does he not fit? The out going or the ongoing ? Just because they gave up a first to get plumlee ( which is a good value) doesn't mean they can't offer up contracts. This isn't a vid game where they offer a max to a player only to find out he falls in their lap lol. They very well know the consequence.

if that's what you mean I agree. THey do know the consequences. Having to pay the worst defender of the league max money. It was a risk. But that doesn't mean they really want him. Otherwise their previous moves would indicate it.
Harkless was a perfect cheap move. Only a second rounder. Kanter on the other hand will take up capspace and he is a bad lockeroom guy.

The time is soon. Can't be much longer before OKC will have to match. A few hours?

The thing that drives me crazy about this is before the trade EVERYONE in OKC was saying Harden would take less money because he doesn't want the spotlight, and as soon as he gets traded EVERYONE in OKC starts saying how Harden didn't want to be in OKC.

Yea I think few more hrs and I do agree on the harckless move. Low risk high reward. Btw I hope OKC matches and get stuck with him since they need to get rid of some their key players .

Now portland has again 20 mil + capspace. Let's see what they do with that. There is only one "good" rfa left. TT. Maybe they can also make Cleaveland pay? But it's much more risky than with OKC the Cavs may actually let him go, since Rich Paul will anyway get his commision.

IMO it's a desperate move to show KD hey we are willing to spend ( at last ). Reminds me when cabs were signing players left and right bf bron hit free agency.

Says the guy who has probably dogged Harden a time or two...

Did Royce Young ever expand on his newfound info that Harden "always" wanted to leave?

I know I wasn't the only one surprised by that comment
