right on. when you go out, but are feeling a little drowsy, just order a few jaeger-bombs and sip on a red bull-vodka or two and you'll be money. not saying it's all that healthy, just good for what ails ya.

hell, i had about four double red bull-vodkas today at happy hour before our meeting. good stuff.

lo-carb Monster in bulk at Sams is the way to go.

Best taste of the low cal/low carb, and a great value.

I hope your lecture was fair and balanced and not just what the pharmaceutical companies wanted you to say. Many herbal supplements have been used for thousands of years.

As for me, I take many of the supplements straight and don't pay for the mark-up to put it in a can, but the convenience of the drinks is nice.

As for Red Bull for example, you're getting a jolt from caffeine and simple carbs. The taurine and B-vites can help you body convert food to energy and handle stress. The niacin is a vasodilator, so somewhat surprising they added this much; you don't want your blood pressure dropping when you're trying to wake up. Maybe it compensates for the rise in pressure from the caffeine, or it's possible that the caffeine doesn't even allow the niacin to act as a vasodilator since caffeine stiffens arteries. Don't know.

Also, if you want your caffeine effect to last longer, look into taking an aspirin with it.
