He's already under contract so this move also saves Le$ money. Probably makes a lot of sense.

He's just wasting away in Cedar Park... and has looked rather decent.

That Rockets team had so much grit. This current group could use Garcia and Delfino type players.

Don't get your hopes up after Morey worked so hard to get us under the tax. Le$ is more.

The buyouts could be Varejao Lance, Hickson and ...Nene? (doubtful)
I dont' see any reason for any great buyout player to choose the Rockets over the Cavs. So if Iso Joe is getting by some miracle bought out he won't be walking through that door.

It seems to me we are punting on the season. Something painful, but reasonable.

I say we don“t bring veterans right now, we go with 10 day contracts, wait for the buyout season and see where to go from there.

    So, Putney it is.

Hickson is better than people think as a backup.

Kinda what I'm thinking. We need high percentage 3 point shooters.

Nobody, Les will save his $$

Seriously though how far under are we from the tax line? Vet mins are 950k, pretty sure we can't sign 2 vet mins. We just traded Anthony who makes only 2.5 mill with a good 2nd to save tax cash.

My bet, if anyone, is 2 sandwiches Mr.Josh Smith from the Dleague or if we have the room one vet min player like Boozer or Dalembert or Evens. Some big man as injury insurance in Dmo's absence.

Hopefully its Putney. Only way I would have any interest in watching the Rockets for the remainder of the reason tbh.

Probably no one, we'll just leave the spot open so as to save money.
