Even though I know where I can get it for free way before they hit the store, I still won't bother to waste my time and hard drive space to download that crap.
I said earlier in that post that Em would be fine but it was in fact the other artists who use music to make a regular living in life. I mean its analagous to yourself putting in a 40 hour work week but getting paid only for 30. Em will still be losing a lot of album sales to this, resulting in millions of dollars. I am sure everyone knows people, I sure do, both young and old that claim to be fans of a particular artists or group but yet to own a legit cd of them. sorry if i am ranting i just have a few friends in the industry that have lost a good deal of money because of mp3s and they arent "bling-blinging" it by any sort of means. its their way of living just like someone working at a company. so this kind of topic is pretty infuriating for me
We'll i picked up "Encore" today. Anyone else do the same? I'm a big Eminem fan, but thought this cd was the weakest one of the 4 he's put out. It had its moments "Mosh" and "Encore" were the two stand out tracks IMO, with a few other solid tracks. It seems like Eminem has lost something with this album. My personal favorite album was "Eminem Show". Musically, lyrically i thought it was his strongest with very few filler tracks, something i can't say about "Encore".
i feel like he stopped writing more hardhitting stuff and just want every track to be a joke or insult.....but then agian...that's what he's always been aboutg
Man I love the album. Im glad it doesnt sound like his previous album. I hate when musicians dont progress.
I was going to go pick it up this evening but I've heard such mixed reviews. I might d/l it just to hear it and see if it is worth buying or not. Otherwise, I think I'll get another 2pac album -- still don't have "Till the End of Time". BTW, "2Pac Live" sucks.
I love: Evil Deeds Like Toy Soldiers Crazy in Love Spend Some Time The only one i don't really like that much is Puke, but the rest are alright too.
Ass Like That is up there on his best stuff. I like some of the samples he used on the album. Overall I think the album has a few good tracks but it is nowhere near the first 3.
I read the lyrics for "Ass Like That", funny stuff, who doesnt he diss? Hell he mentioned Hillary Duff, Olsen Twins, Jessica Simpson, and Triumph the Insult Dog. Like Toy Soilders is great, can easily flow. Spend Some Time is solid I agree with Puke, cant stand the vomit sounds throughout the song
