Asik for nothing? Really? A first round pick is probably the most desired asset in the league, especially from a team who is most likely going to be in the lottery. The Pelicans should be better but they are an Anthony Davis injury away from being terrible. If that pick, even with it's protections lands in the top 10, that is a huge asset for Houston. And even then the Asik trade isn't finalized. It can easy be made into a 3 or 4 team trade that gets us more assets or even a star. Miserable because we 'missed' out on Hawes, Meeks and Bradley? That's hilarious!! Those are nice players but if you have a chance to add a star to your team, you hold out till the end. Those teams didn't have cap space anyway. No team that has cap space to sign a max player are making moves right now, except to make more cap space. Cap space is so valuable in the league right now. In the end, this is a process. Free agency is still young. The best case scenario is that we sign someone (Bosh/Lebron/Melo) then resign Parsons and become instant contenders, filling out our bench with vet mins. The worst case scenario for this team is that we strike out on every big name free agent and have to sign some role players to build our bench. Even then we have the core of a 54 win team plus a valuable pick from the Pelicans that could be used in a trade. So stop being a troll, shut up and watch how free agency ends up before you make a bigger fool of yourself.

The New Orleans trade could be amended to bring back Ryan Anderson if Morey determines Kevin Love is not within reach and we miss out on Bosh and Melo..once again FA started July 1st..it is July 5th..the Big 3 and Melo have grinded FA to a halt..Deng, Gasol, Parsons, Ariza, Stephenson, Hayward, etc will not sign until those other guys sign. If Rox2013 can't understand that then he is the biggest idiot ever. SMH!

Nah from what I understand GoRox2013 is THE reason Morey comes to clutchfans. His insightful takes and broad view of the organization are what Morey strives to reach. We are lucky to have GoRox2013. Damn lucky.
Not every team, but Morey is easily in the top 5. Most teams would be upgrading by getting Morey, but not EVERY team.
