The Rockets are way to soft on defense and on offense we look lost! Yes There was no training camp and not many practices and it really shows. We have played a really tough schedule to start the season off. Im not throwing the towel in I think we will put it all together and start playing as a team and learn our new system! Go Rockets
embarrassed by the assets that Morey has collected. bright future? win now? get a superstar? what a joke.
Man, if I see another knee jerker I'm gonna type a hole through my keyboard..... Dude. I actually saw a TON of stuff I liked last night. I saw an ELITE point guard in a rocket uniform. I saw scola and Martin doing their thing. I also saw a team on the back side of a back 2 back against one of the best teams in the league (talent wise) take it on the chin. Not surprised. Our D was bad but no way it was that bad ... Clips played great and shot lights out. It was just one of those nights. I am so geeked about Lowry and how F'ing good he's gonna be... I could care less about one loss to a really good team.
Not at all.. These Rockets are the Rockets... They are a non-championship team.. Just enjoy the wins when they come and don't get riled up if they lose. These Rockets are 4-7 years away from being contenders (If pieces fall into place)..
Lowry right now looks better than Francis ever did, and I was still cheering through the Francis and Mobley years. Francis might have been flashier, but everyone loves a tough, smart point guard. Lowry was buried on the Grizzlie's bench, so for that find alone, I have some faith in Morey's team in the analytics department. The Rockets simply aren't an elite team, but we have the Knicks pick to look forward to. McHale benching underperforming starters and letting the team lose in the short-term seems like a sound policy. Getting more experience for the young guys and evaluating the talent we have for the long-term is way better than winning a few more games in a shortened season we will likely struggle to make 8th seed in is better for the franchise. I'm a Houston sports fan. I'm patient, and I'm not going to bail on my hometown team in a rebuilding year. Right now, it sure looks like rebuilding to me, even if the front office doesn't want to call it that, and as fans we should be glad.
