Apparently he has been amnestised by Philly At 6'8, he would fit right in http://philadelphia.cbslocal.com/2012/07/06/report-sixers-sign-shooting-guard-nick-young/
Here is a Q&A done with Zach Lowe last week -- http://nba-point-forward.si.com/2012/06/27/one-on-one-with-elton-brand/
no, we are rebuilding. he has no position on a rebuiding team. we have tons of pfs. if he were pg, i would mind to get him.
No to Elton Brand, Dirk Nowitzki or any other declining star. The Rockets either need a star in his prime, like Dwight Howard, or they need to play the young guys, accept a losing season or two and rebuild through the draft. Let Brand go to a contender and chase a ring like Steve Nash.
Why wouldn't anyone want an aging gracefully Elton Brand 2012-2013 version a part of their extensive power forward collection?
I'm still bitter that he won Co-Rookie of the year with Franchise. Steve should have won it out right. BS
Why is this even a discussion at all? Houston has Scola, Jones, White, Dmo, Ppat, Morris..... SMH Houston fans. C'mon now.
Only if we still needed a contract to meet the league cap minimum. Other than that I would rather see our young prospects.
Well, I thought about it, because Brand on a deal for $5M or less for a year would be something you probably could get something of value from a contender for, however I believe you can't trade an amnestied player you put a waiver claim on, although I'm not totally sure. Maybe somebody can clarify.
