I don't know about Harris off the top of my head.

 

Yeah - I never have agreed with the idea that Elon is an idiot.

He is very immature, and he really seems to have not developed emotionally - but that doesn't change the fact that he is a genius and has contributed in a lot of ways.

I don't like his politics - I think that he often trolls people and from just about all accounts he is a shitty person..... but so was Edison, Ford and other geniuses.

Lincoln was certainly not a radical for the 1860's - left or right.

Lincoln was also responsible for the largest increase in federal government size in US history.

At the end of the day Lincoln just wanted to try and keep the status quo - and that is what would have happened if not for the Civil War.

Lincoln seems to have been a sensitive but good person - and I can understand the admiration, but few people really have put in the time to understand his views and personality in the proper context.

 

I have followed Musk since before most of you probably even heard of him.

He's not an idiot when it comes to things he knows well. In certain areas, he's highly competent. But he's also extremely partisan, a massive hypocrite, and one of the biggest spreaders of lies—while constantly lying himself. He often promises the world but delivers something far less impressive, typically late or not at all. When he ventures into topics he doesn’t fully understand, which he often does, his inflated ego makes him look like an idiot—just look at his comments on the cave rescue, his predictions about a prolonged 2023 recession, or his expectation of a MASSIVE red wave in 2022. He's also incredibly sensitive to criticism and quick to silence or block those who challenge him

A recent example: A conservative reporter who had DM'd with him many times was blocked after she GENTLY fact-checked him.

Elon Musk followed me on X a couple years ago and has shared my work and been willing to respond to DMs about stories from time to time, including a back and forth we had for a story on the Secret Service last week.

Earlier this week, when I respectfully approached him via DM about his Sunday claim that Biden-Harris was 'fast-tracking' illegal immigrants to vote and provided information showing that confirmed it was not the case, Mr. Musk unfollowed me and blocked me from DMing him and said asking him for comment for a story via DM was inappropriate - despite him being willing to engage in the past. We did reach out to one of his companies, but did not receive a response.

Below is a link to our fact check on Mr. Musk's claims that Biden-Harris are flying migrants into the US and expeditiously granting them citizenship. Buried lede: It's absolutely false though we were unable to reach Mr. Musk for comment.​
