Elon Musk has dropped his lawsuit against OpenAI and its CEO, Sam Altman, accusing the company of a breach of contract and allegedly abandoning its mission of creating AI technology to benefit humanity. As reported earlier by CNBC, the case was dismissed without prejudice, meaning Musk can file it again.

Musk’s decision to withdraw the lawsuit, filed in a California state court in February (case number CGC24612746), comes just one day before a scheduled hearing where the judge would’ve reviewed OpenAI’s request to dismiss the case. It’s also one day after Musk said he would ban Apple devices at his companies if the company integrates OpenAI’s technology into the iPhone and Mac “at the OS level,” among other bizarre threats.

 

Vast majority of cases are settled out of court.

I'm not sure if they're throttling non-premium accounts or what, but Twitter has become unusable. It took 10 minutes to deactivate my account because the pages wouldn't load.

Most the people I follow on Twitter are on threads, so I'm going to give it a try. This has nothing to do with the politics of elon, only that the UE has gone to ****.

Look at how the State attacked Musk when they could no longer control the programming at Twitter. They launched multiple investigations of him and his company, they tried to take away $50 billion of his earned compensation, they ran stories during the week of the voting on his pay package about claims of sexual harassment and drug usage... Hopefully you guys can see that the State is attacking his man because he is threatening their interests. Just like the State has attacked Trump for 8 years to defame him, take away his money, and now try to imprison him on phony bookkeeping charges. No one should support the State attacking those whose views oppose them -- this is tyrannical and the opposite of democracy.

Also, moving your state of incorporation out of Delaware should be a growing trend. And listing on the Texas stock exchange should also be a growing trend. Pull every lever of financial power out of blue hellholes (NY, DC, Delaware) to restore power to the people and take it away from the State. I'm hopeful that Trump uproots MANY government agencies and gets them out of the corrupt, low productivity cesspool that is Washington DC.
