Couple of very different perspectives on Elon’s biggest problem

Regarding getting butt hurt over getting booed at the Chapelle show….

And regarding the mess that was and is Twitter (all of which he could have avoided by not waiving the due diligence review)

The weirdest thing about Bari Weiss is when she pretends to be anything other than a conservative journalist. Her early work was targeting pro-Palestinian academics and journalists. Then she took her job at WSJ where she wrote a handful of editorials like "Camille Paglia: A Feminist Defense of Masculine Virtues" and "How to Survive—and Maybe Enjoy—PC University". She jumped ship to the NYTimes where she followed the esteemed conservative writer Bret Stephens. At the NY Times she authored such riveting pieces like "Julia Salazar, the Left’s Post-Truth Politician" and "We’re All Fascists Now". Her real skill is writing from a Jewish lens with pieces such as "To Fight Anti-Semitism, Be a Proud Jew" and "The Coronavirus Preys on Jews’ Biggest Strength".

When she "left" the NY Times she announced was resigning because they conspired against her potentially for her Jewishness, and the liberals mocked at her for "self-canceling". Conservatives, on the other hand, like Ted Cruz and Ben Shapiro celebrated her decision. The truth is likely her stories were generally not popular with NY Times 6 million plus readers.

She has "portrayed herself as a liberal uncomfortable with the excesses of left-wing culture" and has sought to "position herself as a reasonable liberal concerned that far-left critiques stifled free speech." And yet she is no more a liberal because of her profession than I am a conservative because I spend time online with all of you.

Her best pieces of journalism are on Jewish issues. But for this drop, absolutely no role. Beyond those works, she just rants about cancel culture and leans conservative despite saying she is a liberal.
And honestly the only reason I know her name or anything about her is because of conservatives celebrating her decision to leave NY Times using the bird app and reading the ensuing back and forth. I think Paul Krugman is the only regular editorial person on the NYTimes I could name.

I don't know what "liberal" means anymore. I guess she's probably pro-choice and pro gay marriage and didn't vote for Trump? Maybe that suffices to get the liberal ID card, if one wishes to carry it.

Hints that someone on social media is not expressing their sincere beliefs:
If their profile says something about being a "centrist tired of the left" or "classical liberal" they are probably grifters.

The right for half a decade starting with the fake #walkaway movement have been trying to spam social media with a fake narrative of an exodus of Democrat and liberal voters.

Honestly this narrative can be tested by the free market. Given that conservatives keep on b****ing about PUBLICLY TRADED companies disproportionately attacking and censoring conservative view points, I guess that just means the market is indicating that there isn't an exodus of leftists because that is what capitalism is.

Because of her Wikipedia page and her "resignation" letter.

"My own forays into Wrongthink have made me the subject of constant bullying by colleagues who disagree with my views. They have called me a Nazi and a racist; I have learned to brush off comments about how I’m “writing about the Jews again.” Several colleagues perceived to be friendly with me were badgered by coworkers. My work and my character are openly demeaned on company-wide Slack channels where masthead editors regularly weigh in."

So using Twitter to incite violence isn't against their TOS?
