Yes the perception of corruption can be as corrosive as actual corruption to public trust. While members
Of a Congress should be allowed to own investments they should be required to put them into blind trusts for while they are in office.

It's amazing to see how Yaccarino has fought hard to win back advertisers who were concerned about brand safety after Musk's erratic behavior when he took over.

The new CEO's key job, I'm sure along with many other things, is to restore confidence and bring back ads.

But Musk torpedoes it all with a few tweets. The dude just can't control himself.

right wingers and "pro-business conservatives" now think that their free speech is being violated if a company chooses not to advertise with them.

I am shockingly unshocked by this...................I wish he would stick to rockets and cars, I didn't know anything about this guy until he bought twitter, and I can't say I have a very high regard to him now that I know.

Oh man, another thermonuclear threat - this guy must have seen Wargames at least twice or maybe even three times.

We're dealing with a real pro, I regret to inform you.

Finally, let's see how this lawsuit holds up.

As for Paxton, he's as corrupt and unethical as they come. This is another instance of him engaging in corruption and disregarding the constitutional right to freedom of the press. It's another waste of Texan taxpayers' money, used by him to engage in politics instead of fulfilling the duties of the Attorney General for Texas.

I suppose that’s why the AG for the state of Texas is going after Media Matters.

the reason the regime leaves Bezos alone is because he gives the regime newspaper (WaPo) a blank check, and he doesn't say anything critical like Elon

that's the extra tax Bezos plays to avoid harrasment

Think of him as you will, he`s not wrong on what he is saying. A billionaire cry's foul and immediately you have the government doing his bidding.....you see that a lot in Russia.

Unless you are actually against the Texas Attorney General investigating the press, you are projecting, and you aren't actually against 'the regime' going after the press.
