Yes, Edison genuinely self taught himself engineering and physics concepts. He was somewhat of an actual genius. Elon Musk is not that. He didn't self teach himself advanced physics concepts. He self taught himself a bit of basic coding which a lot of people do. Self teaching coding is the easiest "stem" skill to self teach.

 

I think you underestimate the extent to which Edison was entrepreneurial in almost the same way that Musk is

Musk and Trump are betting that the lazy won't bother to fact check anything themselves. They will encourage their followers to spread and share the lies. They want all media sites to follow suit, and the greedy owners will do it if it makes them richer or more powerful.

The age of flat out lies spread by greedy power mongers on their platforms to the extreme is how they con innocent people. They bought those sites to do just that. That's when you should realize you've been conned by a pathological lying psychopath Trump and his billionaire donor into believing anything you read on social media as truth. Truth Social is filled lies and propaganda. X is filled with lies and propaganda. Both are filled with extremists, nutjobs, and braindead dumbass posters who know nothing about what they are talking about, other than it gets them attention from the other dumbasses. Why do people read the crap on there? It's like the National Enquirer on steroids.
