Maybe in the German language, but I don't care to rely on tweets as a source.

On Facebook, there is an option to self-describe as cisgender. It's a common usage in English without any intention of insult. As far as I know, no one has complained about the common usage of cisgender on this very forum. Facebook certainly wouldn't include a slur as a self-selection option.

Once Musk said it's a slur, you people started researching it. It's like when Trump claimed that light can cure COVID and people started finding medical articles to show how light can be used to disinfect viruses. SMH. Pretty embarrassing, funny, and slightly entertaining.

An embedded twitter link counts as a view, regardless if the person viewing it has a twitter account.

No, I don't believe 90 million people watched it. But it looks good to advertisers. All of these social media impressions/statisitics are trash.

Everything you just said was already proven wrong in the tweets I posted.

Even with this, though, the numbers are total garbage. Given his Fox viewership (which also skews older and not social-media-like) and his Twitter follower count, it's unlikely more than 500,000 people actually saw this show, and it's likely the number is way lower. That would mean the numbers are inflated by ~20,000%.

Agree on the last part, but advertisers aren't stupid. They know the metrics are garbage and they know how many actual views their ads get. And if any advertisers were tricked into believing they got waaay more impressions than they actually did, all that would do is decrease the effectiveness of Twitter advertising, since the response rate would tank. That's not at all in Twitter's interest because it discourages future (more legit) advertising. These numbers serve two purposes: (1) feed Musk's ego and (2) get his lackeys like tinman to promote it. That's it.

The ultimate measure of TC's success on Twitter is the actual ad revenue generated by his show and the subscription revenue (where Twitter takes a 20% cut). If that data are ever published. I wonder how advertisers even know what is being viewed. Do they have access to private data?

The article below mentioned that the more accurate video view count (which is still not accurate, as it counts a 2-second view as a view) has been removed from most devices.

Twitter is removing view count metrics from videos
How many views did that video get? Twitter is keeping it a secret.

In English, the term cisgender was coined in 1994 in a Usenet newsgroup about transgender topics.[25] On that newsgroup, Dana Defosse, then a graduate student, sought a way to refer to non-transgender people that avoided marginalizing transgender people or implying that transgender people were an other.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cisgender#:~:text=In English, the term cisgender, transgender people were an other.

It's funny how Elon Musk gets to decide what is a slur and what's free speech now. Looks like he is your guiding light.

I do not wish to be referred to as "cisgender".

just wondering where this stat comes from.

for instance, would it surprise you to learn that a particular audience segment skews more or less tech savvy when it comes to listening to music?

hip hop, pop, classic rock, country, classical, jazz...which audience segment is more likely to listen to music via a smart speaker?

Musk, from the picture I saw, is out of shape and fluffy at the belly.

Zuckerberg has already won some Jujitsu matches and looks to be very much in shape.

Musk better get a trainer and get busy, if he's at all serious about competing.

Media tuff and egos protruding, but it won't happen due to convenient excuses.

Zuckerberg is a yellow belt in BJJ and from I heard he’s been fighting in novice level matches. That’s no shame on his part as he’s fighting at the level he’s at. That doesn’t mean that he’s fighting and defeating top level competition.
