Hard to tell what is real and what isn’t anymore. This seems too ridiculous to be real.

“The accounts of Ryan Mac of The New York Times, Donie O'Sullivan of CNN, Drew Harwell of The Washington Post, Matt Binder of Mashable, Micah Lee of The Intercept and independent journalists Aaron Rupar, Keith Olbermann and Tony Webster had all been suspended as of Thursday evening.

The Twitter account for Mastodon, a platform billed as an alternative, was also suspended early Thursday evening.”

I heard if you don’t like it, you can build your own social media platform. [IMG]

You are a little b**** if you complained about conservatives being banned on Twitter. You are also a little b**** if you complained about Elon banning everyone.

The guy paid billions of dollars to play a mod on the internet, I think he can make up whatever rule he wants. you can leave if you don't like it

Really looking forward to people understanding the difference between "private company can ban" and "self proclaimed free speech absolutist should not ban or else he's full of ****"

Guess what, your hero is both full of **** and not giving you any money.

    Ever. :p

So, the free speech stuff was really just a farce all along, and it’s just about “owning the libs”?

Some of us suspected this might be the case. Too bad.

So this guy lost his “free speech” cred after a series of decisions the last few weeks and decided, “**** it. I’m suspending anyone who pisses me off and you can’t do a damn thing about it.” lol.

I’m just waiting for Twitter to give a reason for why the accounts were suspended. Really curious what the rationale is.

He said doxxing. Their rule is that announcing the real-time location of an individual for the purpose of doxxing is dangerous and therefore a violation of the TOS.

At least there’s a reason. What’s the time delay that is acceptable? He should show the offending tweets that got them suspended once that time period has elapsed.

What exact real time location did they show? The plane? If so, that plane is owned by an LLC. How do they specifically know Elon is on that plane at that time? They showed a location of a plane. Not necessarily Elon.

Yep. It is. I just find it hilarious though. Anyone who would have the weaponry to shoot the plane out of the sky would not be relying on Twitter to track the plane.
