    I would like to know how they think they can measure that (from the outside). I sure can't. I could see how Twitter itself might be able to track such stats, but the search function on Twitter doesn't even work well enough to try and track this stuff, at all.

    Musk isn’t actually disputing their findings. He’s just focusing on a different metric — how often tweets with hate speech is viewed on Twitter. I can see the argument that this is the more relevant stat to look at.

    Did the new Twitter verification thing go live today? I think he said last week that today was the target. Easy to forget with the Ye drama and forthcoming Hunter Biden expose.

    Not sure why anyone would be surprised that a platform that “open” up to more speech and have less content moderation would NOT have more hate speech. Unless of course it actually didn’t open up to more speech and has the same level or even more content moderation…

    There was also a period of right wing trolling / testing right after Musk took over which would inflate the number temporarily…
