the problem is even IF - and it's a big IF- AB0 develops the skills and court vision of a Tony Parker, he'll still never be able to guard Parker because he's undersized.

there's no IF. he's not going to. tony parker had tons of potential where the nets GM rod thorn would have liked him for then an all-nba player in jason kidd (don't mistake that for the current jason kidd).

there's a reason why our #1 young player teams ask for is carl landry. brooks is high on our radar. but no team would trade a star for brooks.

he's going to be a good player (who i think would be best off the bench b/c of the energy he brings--too short and too weak and brings a lot of liabilities on the other end and lack the playmaking to be great on the other end).

That 3rd or 4th seed is as stable as the wind.

Tinman is the Kenny Smith of Clutchfans.

I'm not sure AB will be the long-term solid PG, but I'm pretty comfortable that between him and Lowry, one of them WILL.

Yes, my example of a developed young PG is Rondo. of course Rondo had issues, but his positives outweigh his negatives and Rondo played as a starter where he struggled last year but eventually caught on. He's MUCH BETTER this year for it.

Rondo's trial by fire was the right thing to do.

im not so sure ab will be a true starting point guard or will be able to handle that job.

Our major problem is a true passing first, getting our main guy the ball first pg, than shoot point guard.

I hope morey can get us that, maybe during the summer or some trades.

This is also the first year we havent had atleast 2 holes in the starting lineup, so instead of half the people upset with the 4 position and half the people here upset with the 1 guard, everyone is concentrating on the 1 and it seems to make it worse than it really is. We have had a problem with our point guard for a while, morey fixed the 4 and everyone is happy with that, give him a little time, and give ab/lowry a little time and lets see what they have.

This team is doing better than anyone could imagine at this point in the season with all the troubles we have had so far, morey got rid of rafer for a reason, it might not be to win now, but with those 2 at the point getting the experiance they need next year could look a little different.

I know no one wants to start thinking about next year when we are playing now, but im really glad that someone with the rockets organization is starting to do so.
