Eliminating the death penalty... to cut the budget!

That is true but you are more likely to get a miscarriage of justice if there is a rush to judgement.

 

I'm against the death penalty because of my understanding of God's commandments (that whole vengeance is mine thing), but I actually think that spending 30 years in prison for a crime that I didn't commit would be worse than dying for a crime I didn't commit. I guess I value my freedom more than I value my life.

 

How do you punish those already serving a life term in prison who commit another murder(s) while in prison?

 

Solitary confinement?

Once you get off of cloud 9 in the basement of your parents house you sheltered fa$$*#, and really see the hardships these people have to deal with you would understand that these claims you make are not only extremely racist, but completely asinine.

You have no conception on what it is to live the "hard-knock life" like some of those cats, because if you did you would realize that the in essence of been victims of the way society has been run the past few centuries in order to keep a social hierarchy in which the Anglo male has been at the top. It hasn't been long since the functionalism movement started and has tried to undo this belief that a person is at a disadvantage from birth because of his genetics. Instead of sitting at your computer and being an e-thug because you have lived a privileged life where your parents, think about life would be if you didn't have the same opportunity as others from birth. You were at a disadvantage when born and you have to work more than twice as hard to become what you define as successful.

I don't really want to get into it in depth, but now that I think about it your only 17 years old. You may think you know something about life, but you don't know a God @*&#@( thing. You'll see how things change when your actually pitted with some hardship.
