Sorry Bats, but when someone calls me and my opinion dumb, I defend myself.

What you simply can't explain away is WHY Osama would put out a tape in the first place? Why would he openly claim to punish the Red States? -- This most certainly has not been debunked despite your attempts at pushing this story. I heard the tape. It's obvious. If Osama is on the run, most of his friends are killed, and he has no where else to hide but the mountains of Pakistan, do you honestly think he likes Bush? Of course not. I strongly believe that the terrorists view Kerry for what he is -- an anti-war, anti-defense liberal who is soft, soft, soft. Bush will kill a terrorist. Kerry will sanction him. You tell me which one they'll pick.

Finally, I have been very civil today. Others have not. You know who you are.

Jorge, Jeff called your post dumb after you talked about the celebrating Kerrorists. It was dumb. We're not doing that stuff today. There's a sticky warning against that kind of stuff, but you apparently can't help yourself. And then, after you start it up, you play the victim. Nobody's buying it.

The red states thing has been debunked. Nobody but the 'lunatic fringe' is still pushing it. Have a good election night. I'm not getting into it with you.

    As usual.*

*Actually, I'm resisting the urge to bicker.

Anyone pay attention to the Florida situation? Their absentee ballots (which according to registration should turn out 65,000 votes for Bush and about 30,000 votes for Kerry) aren't going to be counted until Thursday. Why can't this state get its act together? It's like the middle child of the family who always has to try and steal the spotlight

I don't understand why they release any of this information. There should be no reporting on results in any state until the west coast polls are closed.

No way, release the data. It should not effect anyone's vote.

I love the data coming out and was watching my watch until 6pm hit.

    GO ELECTION !!

Does anybody else think that the sports networks would do a much better job of covering this?

This is essentially "sports" after all, in the name of competition.

I don't think these news guys are too good w/ their stats...

Yeah, and voters should be able to line up ballot cards properly to see who they are voting for and to punch out chads. Apparently, though some of our voters do stupid stuff.

Betfair G.W futures are at new lows. Legal insider trading at its best.

    More news from Ohio:

A judge just said voters in Franklin and Knox county must be expedited.

Here is the problem. Polls closed at 7:30 yet there are lines estimated at 4+ hours remaining (anyone in line can stay in line and vote).

The judge said those in line can be given provisional or absentee ballots to expedite teh process.

    Is anybody else nervous?

I'm almost as tense now as I was in Game 7 of the NLCS.
