And the thing about that is that we're in a nation of majority rule, with protection of the minority. We may make decisions based on the wishes of the majority (which isn't really applicable here, since we're talking about opinions and not courses of action), but we always provide the outlet for public criticism, and try not to trample the rights of the minority.

I know he fabricated the Iraq war, I was mostly referring to him lucking into a justification for that war (with 9/11, and even though it wasn't a real justification).

Also, does anyone find parallels between the Pearl Harbor conspiracy and September 11th?

Roosevelt wanted a good reason to go to war.
He knew that Germany would not enter the war if America appeared unbeatable.
He knew that Japan would attack the US.
He denied intelligence to Hawaii that would have let them know that they were being set up to be attacked.
He purposely stationed men and expendable battleships at Pearl Harbor to invite the Japanese to attack, ultimately costing over 2,000 American lives.

Bush wanted to go into Iraq even before he was elected President.
He knew that the American people would never consent to sending their children to die for Bush and Co.'s financial betterment.
He knew that we would be attacked in the manner used on September 11th and the approximate time period that it would take place.
There were massive "intelligence failures" within the CIA and FBI.
We didn't warn the citizens of New York, or the airlines and airline passengers, ultimately resulting in over 3,000 dead Americans.

These are the kinds of things that make re-electing Bush absolutely unthinkable in my eyes.

Whatever. I don't disagree that Bush is leading, but I do still think Kerry has a chance.

    Dow futures up 100
    S&P futures up 11
    Nasdaq futures up 18

Bush is seen as more business friendly, and the best indicator to the results of the election is money at work- the stock market. As of right now it is pretty indicative that Bush has this thing all but rapped up. In the afternoon today there was a reports out saying how Kerry was showing signs of life in early poles, immediately cause the Dow to plummet about 60 points in 10 minutes, just to show how much a barameter the stock market is.

Personally, i am a Kerry supporter, on principles. However, since i am heavily invested, i guess this elections is win-win for me.

BS, umm, CBS called NV for Bush, so that does it. He may even pull of a Wisconsin comeback and end up with 296 EC votes.

This is getting ridiculous. The electoral college needs change. If it was proportional, all the election talk would be over by now. Kerry shouldn't even have a chance at this point being so far behind in the popular vote. I voted Kerry, but concede already man.

Boy, Democrats have some work to do before 2008. That sea of red is dominating.

    here is my points:

-Where was the young people? You mean having celebrities give free concerts in exchange for registering didn't get them to vote?

-Ohio delivered. I was very worried, like I said I was told it was 49-41 based on numbers at the RNC at around noon yesterday, but then they also saw the same numbers that came on here and it did cause a panic. What I understand happened to those numbers is two fold: It was too heavily weighted female and too heavily weighted large cities. Again maybe women voted more heavily early and it caused the error but they need to review the stats to see why that happened. Also the exit polls for some reason talked to too many people in large cities, which in Ohio's case meant alot more democrats. Again don't know why?

-I hope Kerry concedes gracefully. Last thing we needed is another legal battle. I think I know that he'll fight but I'll hold out hope he concedes today at 4pm.

-The American people spoke loud and clear. Not only did Bush stay in the White House but the House and Senate stayed Republican as well. That tells me there is hope, but we need to bring the country together.

-Also my special message for Michael Moore and George Soros. Moore go back to making movies, you are a douche bag but a douche bag who can entertain some people. George thanks for the $15M on campaign money. Hope you got your moneys worth.
