The Kerry Camp just released a statement saying they have not conceded Ohio and still think they are going to win Ohio, according to MSNBC.
Even more shocking, the Gore Camp just released a statement saying they have not conceded Florida and still think they are going to win. Sorry, couldn't help it.
I think if Dems are going to make a comeback in this country, they need to turn their backs on gay rights and abortion They will always be unpopular stances and Republicans smell it
If you guys want to see a forum gone out of control, please read the politics forum over at craigslist. Whew. Some angry folks over there. Real hatred spewing forth.
So will Ohio turn into the 2004 Florida? Even though I hold out hope of Kerry wining, which I think there is a greater chance of the Dolphins winning the Super Bowl, I wish that we as a country did a better job of holding an election. I can file my taxes online, we can send men into space, but we can't come up with an standardized efficient way to vote.
Boston, MA - Kerry-Edwards campaign manager Mary Beth Cahill released the following statement: "The vote count in Ohio has not been completed. There are more than 250,000 remaining votes to be counted. We believe when they are, John Kerry will win Ohio."
"George W Bush has not won Ohio... He came in and tried to take it, but we beat him back and the Kerry camp has now won the State of Ohio"
How hard would it be to have electronic machines that you vote on. They have "instant" results to all of the media outlets and such. The machine also prints a paper ballot that goes in the ballot box. We get the unofficial tally from the electronic machine, and if there is any question, we can run the paper ballots or even hand recount.
Im voting in CT for the 1st time and they have some antiquated machine which only 90 year old people know how to operate. So here I am, a person with an advanced degree, trying to figure how to operate the damn thing and 3 geriatric volunteers have to help me.
Electronic machines? You are making the assumption that some of these polling places have ample amounts of electricty.
