GWB is the man, 4 more years baby Michael Moore, get back to telling lies, or eating Pizza and French Fries Kerry, go back to your posh house, and take that evil wife with you. Edwards, keep thinking you look pretty Howard Dean, maybe Gene Peterson could learn how to do your yell on the radio, might make the games exciting YEEEEEAAAAAHHHH!!
with 88% reporting Bush now leads by 1,700+ votes EDIT: Oops, had comma in wrong spot, and an extra 0.
Moore should be sending Christmas cards to Bush for the rest of his life thanking him for all the money he has made and will make in these 8 years. Moore hates Bush, but he probably doesn't care too much...this just translates to more movies and money for himself.
Sorry, wrong comma placement... Same diff though. 4 more years. (btw- I'm so tired of all the boo-hooing about having to stand in line... I did it too!!! )
Lucky for you that Bush is winning. After hours trading and the dollar is up around the world with the news that Bush is in the lead. Also, I think you are confusing deficit with inflation. Inflation rates are actually pretty good. Unemployment is around 5.4%, which is historically very low as well. The GNP is growing around 3-4% which is pretty good. The economy isn't blazing, but it is certainly not shot either. Its "pretty good" or even "just OK," but not in the toilet by any means. AND it is doing this with oil around $50 a barrel. While this is good for Houston economy, it is a pressure on the US economy, to it will only ease as oil lowers itself from these insane prices.
By all means, let's derail this thread. 1) No, I dislike the level of deficit we're experiencing, but that does not mean the economy is "shot". The economy's growth and the level of unemployment are both reasonable and both figures are improving. The deficit is not something I think either candidate would adequately address. 2) Would you like to comment on your apparent belief that inflation is either a) unusually high or b) too high for your comfort?
