This might deserve another thread, but:

IF Bush holds on and wins, do you think he'll step up the war in Iraq, using more force and such?

I said months ago that I thought he was playing it safe over there, keeping the casulties down because of the election year.

Why turn this personal? Please try to be civil.

I was ready to call it for JFK based on exit polls but the vote counting doesn't match them or anything else; not sure what's up in Florida; can bush really multiply his victory margin by 100x with higher Afr. Am turnout?

I don't know; maybe the early voting will even it up; who knows, but something obviously happened there that threw people off.

Growing less optimistic. Oh well, since I'm out of the country maybe I won't come back, heh.

Can we just discuss current events without acting like jerks for once tonight in this thread?

Maybe this deserves it's own thread, but it looks like Prop 1 AND Prop 2 are going to pass. What does that mean?

I don't know, but if Prop 1 passes, don't press the red button whatever you do. If Prop 2 passes, don't press the blue button under any circumstances.

If they both pass, consult your tech manual for more help.

the election so far has proved two things. 1, exit polls suck, and 2, higher turnout no longer favors the democrats. and 3, the exit polls really suck.

I know it's still early, but it seems like Mr. Rove is really looking like a genius at this point.

The Mayor said that not both Props would likely go into law. The one that has the most support would get passed, the other would be rejected/ terminated.
