is bunning the one they were talking about earlier who has been saying crazy things in the last few weeks.
Does anyone else think that the electoral college is tremendously stupid? It reminds me of a line from Animal Farm: "All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others."
In other news, 2001 #1 draft pick Kwame Brown has won city council in DC. http://network.ap.org/dynamic/files..._other/DC.html?SITE=CSPANELN&SECTION=POLITICS Good luck, Kwame!!!
Bush has won...I think. He is winning Florida and Ohio, and that gets him to at least 270. It's over.
From Drudge: WASHINGTON, Nov. 2 (UPI) -- White House sources are telling UPI that they believe George W. Bush will win Ohio and be re-elected president of the United States. At 10:30 p.m., Bush was told by a senior adviser that Ohio would land in the GOP column and put him over the top with at least 274 electoral votes, the sources said. "We're very upbeat," Bush said as he watched returns in the Yellow Room at the White House with family members -- including his father, former President George H.W. Bush. "I believe I will win." Bush's comments shortly before 10 p.m. EST reflected rising Republican hopes that Bush will win Florida and remain in contention in Ohio. Winning both those states would almost certainly return him to office. The comments were also timed to reach voters in states where the polls had not yet closed including Hawaii, Nevada and Oregon. CNN had Bush leading with 193 electoral votes to Sen. John Kerry's 112.
I think it is over, 4 more years of that cheshire cat grin. But, at least he won in a more convincing manner this time. You have to respect the rest of the country and what everyone voted. If Bush wins, so be it. U-S-A...U-S-A....getting ready for my 2006 World cup cheer. DD
Because you don't understand the culture. I think it is low class to criticize celebration that you don't relate to.
i agree, looks like the last precincts to be counted in ohio are red ensuring a bush win. Florida is almost done counting with a clear Bush lead. My projection: Kerry 263 Bush 285
