I think we should just go with the results from Indiana, Georgia and Kentucky and call it a day. :)

    Florida:

    16% of precincts reporting

    Bush: 671,074 55%
    Kerry: 538,046 44%

What am I missing here, looks like Bush is doing great.

You know better than that. It all depends on which precincts are reporting.

not to pile more poop on top, but smaller counties get their votes in first, followed by the larger ones. 16% is way too early

What a day! What a Day!!!

Drove 18 seniors to the polls today! Got free lunch, free beer and an invitation to meet a nice old lady’s granddaughter! J Guess she didn’t see the ring!

So cool! People in PA are excited and just dam determined! Haven’t read the thread yet but I understand Kerry is running very strong right now.

Gotta open a beer and catch up!

What a night it’s going to be! Hopefully, the insanity of the last four years will soon be over!

And home just in time for the game! GOOOO ROCKETS!!!!!!

It does look good though - because the panhandle area which is in central time zone - usually goes strong rep. and closes one hour later that the rest of the state because of the time dif.

I think Bush is gonna take Florida this time.

That sounds awesome. My friend was out in Loch Haven all day doing the same.

I remain guardedly optimistic for a JFK double play. Things are looking much better than expected, if, and it's a huge if, the exit polling is accurate in any way.

Interestig watching this thing from abroad for the first time ever. Guess who these folks are pulling for?

Agreed, Florida looks like a Republican win. A significant portion of the state's returns are in.

worth mentioning. here it is 8:30 PM EST, more than three years since 9/11, and no terrorist attacks in the U.S. thank whoever you like, W, Ridge, the military, or the guys maning security at la guardia. by any measure this is a major accomplishment and one we should all be proud of.

Whom shall we thank for the terrorist attacks outside the US?

What's your point basso? It's not like we just experienced terrorist attacks all the time before 9/11.

uhm, WTC, pentagon, shanksville- mean nothing to you? it was simply meant as an acknowledgement that we've survived, and against some long odds. is you can't even grant that much, then i won't last til tomorrow...

Do you remember what happened in Spain before the elections there?

I think that was his point.

    My deciding factor:

Are you scared to go on a plane anymore? Do you give it a second thought. I can confidently say I feel safe.
