I doubt you raised an eyebrow in 2000 when the SCOTUS interfered in a valid recount or in 2016 when Trump defied the odds and won by the narrowest of margins.

There are enough infrastucture and personnel on both sides that its almost impossible to rig an election in the US. The best you could probably do is manipulation through electoral laws and processes and/or judicial intervention - GOP are experts in both fields.
