They knew that whoever held the Republican ticket would be risking political suicide, as the successor to Bush. You know it's a bad year when the conservative talk show hosts are grasping at straws saying "McCain is doing great! He should be losing by 20 points or more but look, he's still in it!"
Hillary voters rejecting Obama could very well be a big surprise... The privacy of the voting booth can do some verrrrry interesting things, friends... Obama wouldn't be going to Iowa if he didn't agree with me...
