If you remember back, Bush/Cheney openly questioned the patriotism of anyone who challenged them after Iraq turned into a disaster. It was demagoguery at it's worst. Hagel was one of the first (if not the very first) ranking GOP official to come out blast them on Iraq, which removed the patriotism issue completely. He deserves credit for that. McCain's late criticism of the Bush administration is worthless and non-credible. Two completely different cases.
Pennsylvania is getting interesting, friends. The latest poll (conducted early this week) shows Baraq Ubama 47% John McCain 43% Undecided 9% Remember, this is on the heels of The_Conquistador's special project in the region.
If your special project is like any of the other REPEATED claims that ALWAYS turn out to be COMPLETE bull****, then I'm sure Obama is going to be just fine. Even if Obama loses Pennsylvania, which isn't likely, he still wins. For someone that talks so much crap, you still refuse to take the bet. Coward. I'd also be interested in why you haven't posted on your ridiculous blog since the RNC? It wouldn't be because the GOP has completely and utterly tanked has it?

Isn't Trader always telling folks to ignore the polls because they don't mean anything until now when it appears they may be favoring his selection?
Why do you continue to ask him for a bet? I don't believe he paid his tip jar funds from our bet yet (the one he offered me). I don't recall a response whenever I ask him about it, and I will gladly stand corrected if he did pay.
No, and it's why he won't take the bet. He will spend a lot of time in here, if Obama wins, spewing hate against the guy. That's sadly independent of whatever type of job Obama would be doing as pres.
Source? Of course, it's Mason-Dixon/NBC, which is being trumpeted by every wingnut blog out there. What TJ does not tell you is that the last time they polled PA, Obama was only up by 2... so, under their poll protocols, Obama has doubled his lead from the earlier poll, which is in keeping with the other polls upward swing of Obama in PA over the last few weeks.
Sizzler, how much do you know about option theory? The bet ain't goin' anywhere, brother. Why on earth would I accept it prior to the last minute, when full information is available? See, this is another example of why I am so much smarter than the rest of the unwashed masses around here. HO HO HO
Because for all the crap you talk, you don't have the balls to stand for anything. You are arrogant, shallow, and portray everything that the rest of the world hates about America. You should be ashamed of yourself regardless if it is an act or not.
Ignore TJ. He's recently posted a winger blog entry from January, an interview with an Obama supporter from the early primaries, and a poll that actually shows an improvement for Obama in PA. He's desperate and flailing, just like the McCain campaign. As long as he keeps fighting like it's a previous election and helps keep the Republicans from an honest evaluation of their philosophy and policies, it's all good.
Because of 2 points swings in Zogby and Rasmussen, tpm's daily composite poll swings back towards Obama. • Gallup: Obama 51%, McCain 44%, with a ±2% margin of error, unchanged from yesterday. • Rasmussen: Obama 51%, McCain 46%, with a ±2% margin of error, compared to a 50%-47% Obama lead from yesterday. • ABC/Washington Post: Obama 52%, McCain 44%, with a ±2.5% margin of error, unchanged from yesterday. • Hotline/Diageo: Obama 48%, McCain 42%, with a ±3.3% margin of error, compared to a 49%-42% Obama lead from yesterday. • Research 2000: Obama 50%, McCain 45%, with a ±3% margin of error, compared to a 50%-44% Obama lead yesterday. • Zogby: Obama 50%, McCain 43%, with a ±2.9% margin of error, compared to a 49%-44% Obama lead from yesterday. Adding these polls together and weighting them by the square roots of their sample sizes, Obama is ahead 50.5%-44.2%, a lead of 6.3 points, compared to the 50.2%-44.4% Obama lead from yesterday.
I'm really close to saying this thing's over... ceding the ground game to Obama is essentially waving the white flag...
