Elderly man shoots attempted robber

Guns are a great equalizer for the weak and elderly. The whole "call 911" crowd can note the inability to use a phone.

 

Is this a tinman tale of Dr. Doolittle's PushMe-PullYou in which the PullYou (aka gun) got the upper hand on the PushMe (aka telephone)?

 

Nearly 30 mins before call the Police somethings not adding up.

 

Ok. But, I don't see why I should be happy a guy died.

 

That is definitely the suspicious detail here.

 

I would like to hear more about the situation before rendering an opinion but I don't see how being able to fire a gun accurately is more difficult than dialing 911.
