Uhhh, no. The only thing Noriega, the Orejuelas,Pablo Escobar and their ilk were afraid of - the ONLY thing - was extradition to the US, because federal prison is a no-frills, no escape, no parole, no bull**** sentence.

Well if he isn't going to spend the rest of his life in prison, he better escape before he hits US soil. His life is basically over. 23 hours a day in a SuperMax in solitary confinement, extremely limited visitation if at all.
After seeing the whole video it's safe to say he fully recovered from his broken leg. I'm REALLY impressed by the soldiers that are parading him! ^^ I get your point..but el chapo is really about business..cant get high on your own supply and be functional as a successful drug lord.. He likely makes sure none of his men are using either, from what I've read about cartels...likely send them to detox, if it happens, before they can work for him again.

They are saving him just in case Trump gets elected. You don't ask us to pay for a wall, and you can have him.
It does look like that. They should have put his head on Arnold Schwarzenneger's younger body if they wanted to look really good about who they took down. El Chapo's problem is he got cocky and arrogant. If he just would have lived under the radar, then he probably would have lived the rest of his life a free man. Sean Penn may have also brought down Chavez by giving him cooties...which led to his illness. SEAN PENN IS A HERO YA'LL!!!!
I believe it has to because of the process involved. His lawyer will also postpone it by filing certain paperwork. Not unexpected.
