T-mac pushes nash, Shaq pushes T-mac, Yao, and rafer. Remind me again how t-mac is more of a culprit than shaq?
I dont think shaq did anything wrong to TMAC and Yao. He did push them but to me it was only to keep them away from what could have escalated into something much bigger. He could of floored them so much harded if he wanted to. Contrarily, he was going after rafer as if he wanted to drop him bad though...
Shaq is a douche for doing that...T-mac pushes nash, Shaq pushes T-mac, then Yao, then Rafer... Of course, Barnes started the whole thing...The good thing is that Ron Ron wasn't a factor in this "shoving match" so they can't blame him...
I just want to know why Skip Bayless has a job. Of course what happen in PHX was not a "fight." It was an "NBA Fight." It's a bunch of dudes who are faking toughness like they can swing a punch.
He had more hair back then. Namely, a tuft of hair over the top of his forehead to fence off the lagoon that was his bald spot.
What was Nash doing before T-Mac pushed him? It's not Shaq's fault that he has the strength of ten bull elephants. He hardly touched Yao and Tracy, and they toppled over like dominoes.
The problem is that after Alston and Barnes were going at it, Tmac came in to break it up. But Steve Nash came charging in at Alston and Tmac pushed Nash away from Alston. Shaq pushed Tmac out of the way because he saw Tmac push Nash. Nash escalated the whole thing. Maybe Shaq pushing Mcgrady was a blessing in disguise, because Tmac could have thrown a punch if Shaq hadn't pushed him. Shaq basically cleared everyone by plowing the row.
I don't care to read through this thread, but I would just like to say I find it absurd that people are apparently upset over Shaq's role in this "fight". That sequence beginning with his push of T-Mac might have been one of the funniest things I've ever seen in an NBA game.
I thought he should have been tossed. He could have done any number of other things besides push people down, including just walking between people like Yao was trying to do. And go look at the Tracy shove... he gathered himself and put some weight into it... it was not a nonchalant push, but an intentional shove. The Yao shove was less egregious, but then he goes hunting for others to shove. I would have tossed him.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SiY1D1lAH-A Look at Shaq's "punch" on Brad Miller he winds it up and punches from the blind side. Shaq punching/pushing when the receiver is not aware is becoming his signature move
Shaq can't fight, everyone knows that. He can't even hit straight. I'm sure Ron Artest would put a beating on Shaq. Ron trained as a boxer before with his dad, who fought pro before.
The thing that bothers me with Shaq in this is that he could have grabbed TMac and pulled him away instead of pushing him to the ground. He could have tried to get between the players and Rafer at the end, and possibly between Nash and TMac. Instead he chooses to push them from their blind side. I think he was going in with good intentions, but could have handled it differently. When Yao went in he just tried to get between and separate the players, not shove them to the ground. Pugs
How well did yao standing in between players work out though? If shaq didnt push them to the ground there would have been punches thrown and players suspended.
The funniest part IMO was Yao pushing Tracy the ground. Kinda scary when Yao went down after stepping on Tracy's foot, glad, very glad no one got hurt.
lol the funniest part imo is when nash came running in out of nowhere like a bad ass only to get thrown to the floor
