    This is true?!?

2 of the top5 ever just last year? Maybe they weren't so terrible together.

13 assists from these 2 who probably shared 26 minutes a game and played 55 minutes total..

Guys are not opening their eyes. If you've seen Lin play even with the Rockets you've seen him play make and pass and one of the complaints is he didn't shoot enough during the season last year. Posters were saying Lin should shoot 15x and he was only shooting 8-11 times a game. He was definitely pass first and saying he's a SG playing PG isn't really right. He has some SG qualities but PG ones are strong as well. Problem this season is they want him to attack the rim and shoot 3 pointers and pass every now and then and that's not using him right.

Linsanity involved everyone on his team when he's a Point Guard, "the" playmaker.

I haven't kept my eye on Reggie Jackson throughout his career or anything, but recently he's turned it up a notch in the few games that I've seen him play. He's a young player, good defender, grabs rebounds and is developing some resemblance of an offensive game. I can see him being an upgrade over Beverly, without losing much on defense, but gaining some play making abilities.

OKC must be high on him right now too, so I don't know how we're going to get him out of there without losing on the trade.

Casspi/Bev for Jackson? OKC could use a better back up to Durant.
If OKC rejects that. Asik/Beverly for Jackson/Perkins? This favors OKC a little too much, but at least Houston gets a legit backup C.

Not really his first instinct is to look for his shot and pass second. That's not a bad thing if the team needs a offense first player, but we already have enough of that.

OKC would be the perfect team for Asik, but I don't know how much we actually want to help OKC.

I would stay away from Perkins, he doesn't bring that much more than Greg Smith and we can't take his contract because we need to have as much room as possible for the Parsons extension. I would only do that deal if OKC take Lin's contract and throw in a draft pick or two.

No way OKC would do Casspi/Bev for Jackson. And it would take a LOT for me to turn my back on this team, but Kendrick Perkins just might be enough to do it. I'd take Steven Adams over Perk 10x out of 10.

Patrick beverley is good at pressure defence. Sucks at everything else. He really needs to be a spark off the bench like last season.

Perhaps the management, after declaring Harden the face of the franchise ,want Harden to produce as much as he can (Points, Assits). If Lin is given relatively free rein as a starter Harden's numbers may decline significantly. Also, perhaps Harden needs the spotlight like Anthony in NY. When Lin was being considered for a contract Anthony said to the press: No one distributes the ball to me. I distribute the ball. When Anthony came back from his injury Lin was reduced to the roll he is now playing in Houston. If he brought up the ball he gave it immediatelt to Anthony. Also, Anthony brought up the ball almost as many times as Lin did. Anthony wanted it like that. He was man enough to say it.

LOL you got to be kidding me. We're not the Knicks, the only thing the front office cares about is wins.

This is hilarious. Every time you think Lins fan base couldn't embarrass themselves more they take it up a notch

Magic J said that Lin's success in NY was because he got the whole team involved. Even Jared Jeffries became a scorer. You should have seen the alley oops to Landy Fields and Tyson Chandler. There were many a game. Very exciting. Now, nothing from Lin in that area even with Howard on the team.

    Obvious is Obvious! Fun game!

Hey maybe we can swap Lin for Kendrick Perkins, if OKC will part with him.

The whole "they're afraid Lin will upstage Harden" angle is just.... no.

Just a friendly advice if you want to be taken seriously, never quote Magic Johnson on basketball analysis.

Trolls go after low hanging fruit. There's plenty of discussion to be had, but pigs would rather roll in the mud with other pigs.

They do care about wins. That's why they are very concerned about pleasing Harden. He is an all star and brings other good players to the team:EG;Howard. Thus, what Harden wants Harden gets , much like CP3. D Williams, Anthony, Parker. Parker told a story how he threatened Pop. that he would leave if he brought Wade to SA for Dinner, Knowing that he wanted Wade to be signed by the Spurs. Pop did not bring Wade. This is right out of Parker's mouth. It's very bad for management to piss off their best player. If this happens it reverberates through the team and to the press. Deron Williams appears to have gotten two coaches fired. Chris Paul wanted Doc Rivers. If he didn't get Rivers ,he said he would leave. Suddenly the league ok a very suspicious deal and Paul stopped talking to the Rockets about a deal, so he could play with Harden and maybe win a championship. Anthony got D'antoni (sig) fired. Don't think the Rockets are so different than any other team or don't follow human tendencies. I think you are very unaware how much power Harden (or any super star) might weild at this particular junction in the Rocket's attempt to win a ring.
