Either start Lin, or bring in a new starting PG, Bev ain't cuttin' it.

If the Rockets start Lin, then their already weak bench will get even weaker.

But Patrick Beverly is the worst starting point guard in the league. He is an excellent defender, a great teammate, however, he doesn't have good playmaking skills, nor does he have any great 'pg' skills.

I dunno, I just think he isn't making a good starting PG.

Bev at this point might be the worst offensive starting pg in the NBA. He is not a starter. His hustle and D are great in bursts.

You don't need a great point guard if you have a dominant SG. Just look at Fisher, Chalmers, etc.

Agree. The only hope and reservation I have in the back of my mind is come playoff time he will be big. I think he's a player that shines on big stages. I hope at least. I can see him hitting some clutch shots in the postseason. I hope at least. If not then he is the definition of a bench player

    Beverley is the new Battier.

Yes he did suck, but to be fair, not as bad as Bev hehe. I think he had like 4 airballs tonight?

I'm giving Lin the benefit of the doubt tonight since this is his first game coming off an injury, so we'll see how he performs tomorrow.

There is a big jump from worst starting pg in the league to great pg. There is a middle ground.

Damien Lillard averages 21 points a game.

He was 1-10 tonight for 8 points.

Exactly. Damian Lillard was 1-10 tonight, held to 13 points under his scoring average.

Too many rockets players are not playing within themselves. Bev is not a playmaker but he's trying to beat people off the dribble. He airballed a 3 foot floater in the 4th. He should just stick to his defense, rebounding and corner 3s.

Brooks sucks dick. Look at his last 5 game averages. Why would you want to do that? What makes you suggest Brooks should start? His amazing 39% shooting the last 5 games? Please.

Lin can't even be the sixth man if he plays 20mins and take less shot.

I know it is BS that ppl said Lin will be a contender for sixth man of year.

    Trade LIN pls.
