Get any kind of defensive 4 or 5 with experience or IQ. If not, get Michael Beasley so at least we'll really be balling out and chucking.
Our problem is that we have a 20mil hole that we can't get rid of to acquire depth. We're not able to trade any of our bench-warmers for solid pieces because of the money issue and there aren't really any good FA big men out there.
Short of other deals I do think Chandler gets bought out and maybe IsoJoe if the Jazz falter more. Black needs to be dumped. Nene is fine but he has been hurt and we have overused him. A big like Chandler would really give us the constant rim protection we want with fresh guys at all times. Capela can only give you about 25 min unlike the usual 30-35.
yea, at this point, we really have no choice but to wait until right before trade deadline. That's when all the NBA teams start buying out their guys if they are committed to the tank. It's going to be a rough stretch.
Nene last year was great, this year he is good to but........ He's making some really stupid fouls out there, like fouls when you are too lazy to play on defense. He also sets the occasional moving screen which i dont understand why he has to do because hes a huge human being. Clint doesnt seem to have issues setting screens. And Black's bball IQ is very low. He sets screens but some how forgets to roll. He often looks like the game is moving too fast for him on the "offensive end."
Yeah Ryno's contract is THE major issue with fully shoring up depth with this roster. The Rox are having to depend on players like Nene and Black because the team simply can't do any better because of the cap imo.

Would u trade either Nene or Black for another defender? And then sign Bogut or Chandler in buyout? Do you think Lakers will buy out KCP close to March? Suns I think will buy out Tyson in Feb Bogut too Redick maybe- if Sixers continue to lose. Maybe you package black and a 1st to open a roster spot and you sign one of these buyout candidates
Josh Smith > Montrezl Harrell at playing emergency C.... and that's just one example. It isn't unrealistic to say that we should get a guy better at playing C than Montrezl.
First of all, Josh Smith isn't an actual sized center that you wanted He is not any taller than Montrezl. Second, do you actually think Josh Smith can play the pick n roll better than Montrezl or even Black? The Rockets center's main offensive role is to do the pick n roll.
