We are 8th seed at best with the way we're playing.

The only way this current Rockets team will convince me they're contenders is if they sweep a few of regular season series against the big teams in the east.

While I appreciate the support, I think it is too late for that career path.

And I would have to stop posting here, which would cause severe withdrawl for several posters.

While the players DD suggested be in the rotation may not be the most stellar defenders, streamlining the rotation allowing players to get a better feel of where their teammates will be, how fast they can get there, and what their instincts are would allow the team to be more crisp on defensive rotations and help defense as well. In fact, I would argue that the lack of chemistry, cohesion, and understanding what their teammates will be doing is right now the biggest reason for the bad defense.

Example is how too many Rockets collapse on penetration, and yet most of them are still too late with the help defense.

I will rep him for sure....anyone that shows respect like that....people should be nicer to each other, instead of a bunch of mules running around insulting each other.

    That guy deserves it.

Great post, ima_drummer2k! I totally agree.

In fact, I will go so far as to say that your Rockets-related posts, along with your hilarious one-liners and endless Airplane!/Naked Gun references in the Hangout are just the breath of fresh air this place needs. They NEVER get old no matter what anyone else says.

Frankly, I wish we had more posters like you.

It was funny, but it would be too hard, eventually a signed "DD" would slip...and I would be exposed......

You cannot give Reputation to the same post twice.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to ima_drummer2k again.

He addressed the topic in figurative language, i.e. with an apt baseball analogy. As for him "following you around" here, you have your share of haters around here (I'm too apathetic to be one of them), and it has as much to do with you as anybody else.

Hill should be WAY ahead of Chuck, Jeffries and Hill.

We have got to stop giving these guys free passes for missing lay-ups. "Oh, they are so smart! They play such good defense!" They do not protect the rim, and they can't finish lay-ups, therefore leaving Brooks and Martin with ZERO space to work with in 4th quarters.

Chuck/Jeffries/Miller have no business being on an NBA floor for more than 5-10 minutes. They are situational players.

RA should take some notes from Portland from the past 2 years. They were hands down the deepest team in the league yet they couldn't get the rotations/chemistry down because they had too many good players/role players. Sometimes being 2 deep at every position is a disadvantage. I'd love to see RA shrink the rotation down.
