BTW, the tone in my post sounds kinda ultra-defensive when i reread it lol. I wasn't as pissed off when i was typing as it sounds.
What - only we Christians are allowed to post holiday regards? Only 'Happy Easter' and 'Merry Christmas'?
Eid Mubarak to those who celebrate. I'm not Muslim, but I was invited by some of my Muslim friends to attend an Eid celebration on both Friday and Saturday. So I'm looking forward to that.
I didn't say I was uncomfortable or anything but thought someone saying "Allah this Allah that ect..." should not be in the hangout since everyone might not agree on it.
Well, like I said, are we Christians the only ones allowed to express sentiment on a religious holiday?
If someone posts "merry christmas" thats fine but if someone posts"merry christmas, Jesus is our only savior, Jesus died for our sins ect.." then thats a problem because then I feel like your throwing your religion at me and I might not be a christian. Plus it doesn't belong in the hangout.
Stop worrying about someone else being offended. Thus far they're not. It's a well-wishing thread. If some trolls do send it to the D&D then the mods will take action.
now if this isn't a cleverly disguised thread to bring all the Muslims out of the closet... then i don't know what is
Oh man, I just came up with this great idea. If you don't want people throwing their religion at you, maybe you shouldn't click on a thread where the title is "happy [religious holiday]." Maybe that could work. There is nothing to debate or discuss here, so this is where it belongs.
Saw the thread title so I moved the cursor over to see what the first few words of the OP was, and it showed a hypertext link for a .jpg. Thought for sure it was a hot female.
